Your Legacy at Work

Ensure that your life’s work and values carry on for many generations to come.

Join the Crow Canyon Legacy Society

When you make the decision to include Crow Canyon in your estate plan, you help to ensure the long-term future of this institution you care deeply about. You become a member of the Crow Canyon Legacy Society, a special group of people who have invested in Crow Canyon’s future with a planned gift. Membership in the Legacy Society expresses your belief in Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and demonstrates your commitment to archaeological research, public education, and the inclusion of Indigenous knowledge in all we do. Your generosity not only works as a catalyst for positive change but also inspires others to get involved and make a difference.

How do I get started?

Share your plans with Crow Canyon’s Advancement Office so that we can recognize your generosity and so that we can be certain that the language used in your estate plan will accurately carry out your wishes. For further information, please call us at 970-560-7545.

You are encouraged to complete the Legacy Society Intent Form to confirm your gift intentions in writing and to ensure peace of mind that your gift will have the desired impact at Crow Canyon. If you have already completed this form, there is no need to complete it again.

If you’d like to have a confidential conversation to discuss this process and talk about the different options for including Crow Canyon in your estate plan, please contact Sarah Grace Pretzer or (970) 560-7545. Seek the advice of your financial or legal advisor.

Charitable Bequests

Interested in making a gift in your estate plan that will have an impact on Crow Canyon’s work well beyond your lifetime? A simple, flexible, and versatile way to ensure we can continue our work for years to come is to make a gift in your will or in your living trust, known as a charitable bequest. A gift, or “bequest,” from your will or trust demonstrates your commitment to Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and helps to ensure that we can continue our work for years to come.
