Structure 136, earth-walled pit structure
About this Structure
Central portion of site.
West-central portion of Block 100.
Structure 136 is similar to other pit structures occupied during the Pueblo I period and was probably used in a combination of domestic and ritual activities. Because the floor was not exposed, there are no data available to determine the exact use of the structure.
The structure was no longer used after the Pueblo I period. The floor was not exposed, therefore pottery data is not available for the last use of the structure.
After the structure collapsed and Human Remains Occurrence 3 was interred, the structure depression filled in with natural sediments.
No excavation details recorded for this study unit.
