Structure Use

A well-constructed and heavily used hearth indicates domestic use of this structure. Chipped-stone debitage on floor suggests chipped stone tool production or maintenance. Modified sherds in roof fall might have been on the roof or stored in beams and indicate pottery production. Structure is inferred to be associated with Structure 123 to grid northeast, and with other structures in this kiva suite.

Lack of artifacts indicates leisurely abandonment of this structure or that goods were salvaged by others after occupation of the village ended.

Natural collapse of roof and upper walls.
