Structure 204, subterranean kiva
About this Structure
Southeastern portion of site.
Central portion of Architectural Block 200; north of Nonstructure 201; east of Structure 303; 437N 577E.
Structure 204 is similar to other kivas occupied during the Late Pueblo II period and was most likely used in a combination of domestic and ritual activities.
Primary beams were recycled from the structure roof before the secondary beams and other construction elements were collapsed on to the floor surface.
Natural sediments accumulated above Nonstructure 203 midden deposits.
