Structure 141, masonry surface structure
About this Structure
West-central portion of site.
Northwestern portion of Architectural Block 100; 499.3N 487.8E.
Structure 141 is a masonry surface room that most likely functioned as a living room. The structure was constructed with a T-shaped doorway in the west wall, suggesting a domestic use of the structure.
Structure 141 fell out of use during the Late Pueblo III period. The primary beams were removed from the roof and the remaining construction sediments and secondary beams were collapsed directly on to the structure floor.
Natural wind and water sediments accumulated over the collapsed roof sediments.
