Excavation procedure
This feature was exposed immediately above the floor of Structure 1209. Once confirmed as a human cranium, excavation ceased.
Portion excavated
A small portion of the bottom of a cranium was exposed, including the foramen magnum.
Horizontal location
In the southeastern quadrant of 2-x-2-m unit 603N 363E and in the southeastern portion of Structure 1209.
Vertical location
The remains are resting directly on Structure 1209, Surface 1 (94.37 meters).
Construction
The remains were interred on the floor of Structure 1209 and then covered with sandstone slabs and Structure 1209 roof sediments.
