About this Nonstructure
Central portion of site.
North-central portion of Architectural Block 100; below Nonstructure 9024; 504N 500.4E.
1-x-2-m unit judgmentally placed to expose the north wall of the great house.
Nonstructure 9025 is an extramural surface on which the surface rooms north of Structure 113 were constructed in the Early Pueblo III period. The original core of the great house was in use for several years before this extramural surface was used to construct an abutting north exterior wall to the original northeast corner.
Nonstructure 9025 was no longer used once the surface rooms north of Structure 113 were constructed on the surface during the Early Pueblo III period.
This surface was covered by the construction of the surface rooms north of Structure 113.
Dating of Construction
Nonstructure 9025 was used in the Early Pueblo III period. This inference is based on midden deposits, Nonstructure 134, located below this surface. The north exterior wall above this surface was abutted to the original northeast corner of the great house.
