Prehistoric ground surface in Architectural Block 400 was used for construction during the late Pueblo III period. This inference is based on the construction dates of Structures 402 and 403 which were built in A.D. 1226 and A.D. 1237 respectively. It is assumed that the construction of the surface rooms is contemporaneous with the construction of the kivas.
