Nonstructure 6.7-N, cultural deposit, type unknown
About this Nonstructure
East of main drainage on a steep talus slope; southwest of a tested kiva (Structure 5).
Lower half of Segment 1 (EU 46). Rests below Nonstructures 6.4-N, 6.5-N, and 6.6-N and above Nonstructure 6.2-N.
Part of Nonstructure 6-N testing; see Nonstructure 6-N and associated EU for description and explanation of testing strategy.
Redeposited sterile sediment from the construction of a nearby kiva, Structure 5.
Covered initially by secondary refuse and later by other natural and cultural deposits.
Dating of Construction
No tree-ring or pottery data. Based on stratigraphic position, this deposit predates an extramural surface (Nonstructure 6.4-N) and two secondary refuse deposits (Nonstructures 6.5-N, and 6.6-N), and postdates a possible cultural deposit (Nonstructure 6.2-N).
