Nonstructure 3.5-N, cultural deposit, type unknown
About this Nonstructure
Upper west side. South of cliff face on steep talus slope and south of a cluster of buildings.
Immediately south of Structure 7 (a tested kiva). Upper two-thirds of 1-x-1-m 405N 403E (EU 12).
Part of Nonstructure 3-N testing; see Nonstructure 3-N and associated EU for description and explanation of testing strategy.
May be redeposited sterile sediment that was discarded during the construciton of a kiva (Structure 7).
Dating of Construction
Not constructed. Based on pottery data, this deposit dates from late Pueblo II and Pueblo III times. If this is redeposited sterile sediment from the construction of Structure 7-S (a kiva), and the artifacts were deposited during construction, it was probably deposited in A.D. 1257, because that is when the kiva is believed to have been built.
