CONSTRUCTION

Method and Sequence

A rectangular (inferred) shaped pit was excavated from the prehistoric ground surface into undisturbed native sediment. A prepared adobe surface was constructed. A rectangular pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediment and constructed into a hearth. The walls were probably plastered. A roof was constructed with either upright posts or supports that rested on top of the structure walls.
