Method and Sequence

A round, bell-shaped pit was excavated from the prehistoric ground surface into undisturbed native sediment. A prepared adobe floor was constructed. The earthen walls of the pit were plastered. Roof supports that rested on the top of the walls (inferred) were constructed.
